Brand perception: what ChatGPT, Gemini, Google and Claude say about your company
In short
Every week anewera asks each AI service two questions about your company: “What is [company]?” and “Why might someone not choose [company]?”. We check every answer against the facts you give us and read the objections and strengths from it. Every finding sits in the dashboard with the quote from the answer, word for word. The fact check is part of Analytics, from CHF 290 a month.
Perception
What AI says about your company
Once a week we ask every AI service directly: “What is your company?” and “What speaks against it?”. Then we compare the answers with what you say about yourself.
Your facts, checked service by service
Confirmed, wrong or not mentioned at all: every difference comes with the sentence from the answer. Here, our own check.
What speaks against you
The objections AI raises, counted over the services. Here, the ones against us.
And what to do then
- 1Correct the source AI reads from: your website, a directory, an article.
- 2Answer objections where AI looks them up, openly and with evidence.
- 3Carry it out yourself or with your agency: a brief for each action, with guard rails so nothing breaks in SEO.
Two questions, every week, on every AI service
Your customers do not only ask AI for a provider. They also ask who a company is and what speaks against it. So every week anewera asks each AI service in your project two questions:
| Question | What it shows |
|---|---|
| “What is [company]?” | whether the AI knows you, how it describes you and whether the facts are right |
| “Why might someone not choose [company]?” | which objections the AI hands to your customers |
We ask on ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Claude, in the language and from the country your customers ask in: German, English, French or Italian, from Switzerland or another market.
What we read from the answers
- Fact check: you give us the facts that must be right, such as your location, your offer or your prices. Every answer is checked against every fact: confirmed, contradicted or not mentioned.
- Objections: the reasons the AI gives against you, under short names, so the same objection is counted across AI services and weeks. New objections are marked.
- Strengths: what the AI knows your company for.
- Unknown: whether an AI service does not know your company at all.
Every finding must stand in the answer word for word. What cannot be backed by a quote is dropped rather than guessed. A language model (Claude Haiku 5.5) reads the answers by fixed rules. You see every raw answer with its sources in the dashboard, and you can download every table as CSV.
What you do with it
A wrong statement almost always has a source: an outdated page, a directory, an old profile. The fact check shows which pages the answer cites, and so where to correct. Objections are answered where the AI reads: on your website, in reviews and in trade articles. How to go about it is in the guide Correcting wrong facts in ChatGPT.
In the weeks after, the fact check shows whether the AI services have picked up the correction. What a change does to your visibility we measure under Actions and impact.
Our own example
The cards above show the perception of anewera itself, from our own measurement: which of our facts the four AI services confirm and which objections they raise against us. We never show our clients’ perception in public.
What it costs
The fact check is part of Analytics, from CHF 290 a month for 50 questions, together with the daily measurement, the dashboard and the monthly report. All prices are on the pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find out what ChatGPT says about my company?
Ask it yourself, “What is [your company]?” and “Why might someone not choose [your company]?”, on several AI services and more than once: a single answer is chance. anewera asks these two questions every week on ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Claude, checks the answers against your facts and shows every answer with its sources.
ChatGPT describes our company wrongly or out of date. What can we do?
Find the source first: the fact check shows which statement is wrong and which pages the answer cites. Then correct what you look after yourself (website, Google Business Profile, directories) and ask other sites for a correction. In the weeks after, the fact check shows whether the AI services have picked up the correction.
What is an objection?
A reason the AI gives against your company, such as few reviews or a higher price than others. We group the same reasons under one short name, so you see which objection comes up on how many AI services and which one is new this week.
How often is perception measured?
Once a week, on every AI service in your project, in the language and from the country your customers ask in. Whether you are named in the answers to your customers' questions we measure every day.
What does the fact check cost?
It is part of Analytics: CHF 290 a month for 50 questions, with the dashboard, the weekly fact check and a monthly report. Managed, with our team doing the work, starts at CHF 980 a month.
